What makes a place feel like home when everything is changing?
Home in the Midnight Sun is an illustrated picture book inspired by the northern Swedish mining town of Kiruna.
Because of its unique location, Kiruna is changing not only physically, but also in how residents create spaces for home, memory, and belonging.
This story reflects the emotional reality of change and the quiet strength that comes from staying connected to one another as
surroundings shift.
